Waterbird® Parakites are able to offer a wide range of imaginative parasails for the Commercial operator or private Parasailor. The new range of Waterbird® parasails listed below have up to 35% less line pressure against the boat size for size compared to any other parasail available around the world.
This means as a commercial operator you can fly larger diameter Waterbird parasails in the same wind conditions during your average working day. This option to fly larger parasails everyday allows you the operator to fly double and triple rides far easier and more often than you ever did before. You will also have the added advantage of more stability in higher winds due to the increased diameter.
Larger diameter parasails create more lift for the same conditions so you will also see a large saving in your running costs for the boat as the engine would be running at a lower RPM in all weather conditions. Lift and drag are two entirely separate factors to each other in the design/performance of a parasail unlike traditional drogue parachutes that are designed for their drag characteristics only.

Parasail Features
Waterbird parasails are equiped as standard with Quicktrim®.
Quicktrim@ provides the ability to fine tune the parasail by simply zipping out any bias that develops. This simple system ensures your Waterbird continues to fly straight during its working life.
Note: Do not adjust any of the 16 lines to correct a bias.
Waterbird parasails are available with adjustable high wind zip pressure vents.
These zip vents allow your parasail to be used in a wider range of wind speeds. The average increase in max wind speed would be 30%.
High wind zip vents are a small cost option on all beach/winchboat models and standard on Cyclone models.
All Cyclone X HW parasails come with 4 adjustable high wind side vents together with the HW zips. This allows you to fine tune the parasail for different weight loads or wind speed conditions throughout the working day.
The adjustable G Storm vents G1 and G2 can be opened or closed in matching pairs or in full to allow the parasail to operate in higher wind speeds with added stability and less resistance to the boat.
Parasail fabric and construction
Fabric: 3 types of fabrics are used for 2013 parasails:Our new light weight Skylite™ "double silicone" coated 1.3oz Rip-stop Nylon 6.6 high tear strength is super long lasting in strong sunlight (3-4 seasons). This great new fabric reduces the weight of the canopy by as much as 25% allowing the parasails to open easier on the beach or parasail boat and will allow the canopy to lift heavier loads size for size in all conditions.
